Favre Willing To Play another Season if Southern Miss Wins Little League World Series

Sports betting extraordinaires beware, future hall of famer Brett Favre is spending his third offseason in a row trying to figure out if he will play this coming season or if he will retire. Ever since Favre left Green Bay prior to the start of the 2008-2009 season, sports media outlets and fans alike have had to endure the heavily anticipated coin toss between continuing playing and retirement by one of the league's best quarterback's ever. Similar to hockey fans who had to endure the Mats Sundin drama on the same matter, Favre has added a twist to this year's coin toss. The stipulation has betting fans more interested in the Little League World Series, as Favre has claimed that if Southern Mississippi's team wins the LLWS, he will play for the Vikings again, but if not then he will retire.

In the last three years, Favre has played for three different teams, the Green Bay Packers, New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings. Favre left 'cheese nation' as management and ownership akin, wished to move in a younger direction, deciding the time was now for backup quarterback Aaron Rodgers to take over as the starting pivot. Rodgers has not disappointed in replacing Favre as he has guided the Packers to the playoffs in the last two years. After leaving Green Bay, Favre moved to the AFC East as he joined the New York Jets in a failed experiment to say the least. Still stinging from the Packers wish to move in a more youthful direction, Favre joined Green Bay arch rival Minnesota last year. Favre a pass based quarterback, had many experts questioning if Viking star running back Adrian Peterson was on his way out. Instead Favre and AP, proved to be a formidable duo as they helped guide the Vikings to the NFC Championship game, losing to eventual Super Bowl champions, the New Orleans Saints.
