NFL Betting – NFC East Contenders Look To Flex Muscle Against NFC West Opponents

While the NFC East still ranks among the most competitive divisions in football, the NFC West is still wide open with a good possibility that a team that survives the regular season fishing games with a .500 record could still win the division. The Washington Redskins feel they should be 3-0 at this point, while the New York Giants have won consecutive games to improve to 2-1, as both teams look to flex their muscle on the road against teams from the West division.

Washington Redskins @ St. Louis Rams

Sunday, 1:00 PM ET

Surprisingly, the Redskins aren’t even favored in this game after failing to capitalize on an injured Tony Romo in a close loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football, but that doesn’t mean that they shouldn’t be. Washington has enough talent on both sides of the ball that they should be able to handle a Rams’ team that is winless through three games and struggling with a ton of injuries. Anything less than a sports betting victory here would be a major disappointment for a Redskins’ team that has looked good so far.

NFL Betting Pick: Washington Redskin

New York Giants (-1.5) @ Arizona Cardinals

Sunday, 4:05 PM ET

The Cardinals failed to capitalize on several chances against a Seattle team that simply didn’t look good enough to win an NFL betting lines game a week ago, and now face an even tougher test as they welcome the suddenly 2-1 Giants. New York runs the ball hard and forces opponents to beat them with the pass defensively, and if Arizona is going to be able to overcome this challenge, Kevin Kolb is going to have to step it up big time.

NFL Betting Pick: New York Giants – 1.5
